  • Wilkinson's medal chances hinge on key dive
    Laura Wilkinson made her debut in Beijing on Wednesday night in the women's platform preliminary. Wilkinson has been in Beijing for three weeks waiting to compete, and said she was excited to finally be the one diving instead of cheering.


  • Chen and Wang lead 10m platform prelims
    China doesn't plan on missing out on the 10-meter platform title this time. Teenage divers Chen Ruolin and Wang Xin led the standings in preliminaries at the Water Cube on Wednesday in the one diving event China did not win at the previous two Olympics.

  • Six-pack of golds for China

    He Chong easily won the men's 3m springboard, making the host country 6-for-6 in Olympic diving finals. Americans Troy Dumais and Chris Colwill were sixth and last, respectively, as the U.S. medal drought continued.
