For the second straight Olympics, Matt Emmons lost a gold medal with a stunning mistake on the final shot. China's Qiu Jian ended up claiming the gold medal, followed by Ukraine's Jury Sukhorukov and Slovenia's Rajmond Debevec.

Watch some of the best shots that American Vincent Hancock made during the men's skeet final. Hancock won the gold medal in the event. Norway's Tore Brovold won the silver medal and France's Anthony Terras bronze.

Ukraine's Olkesandr Petriv won the gold medal in the men's rapid fire pistol event, followed by Germany's Ralf Schumann for silver and Germany's Chirstian Reitz for bronze.  American Keith Sanderson placed fifth.

The scene is a familiar one now at the Olympic shooting hall: Matt and Katerina Emmons, hugging and smooching after yet another medal.

North Korean shooter Kim Jong Su failed a doping test. He has been stripped of his silver medal in the 50m pistol event and the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event.

China's Du Li tied an Olympic record during the qualifying round of the women's 50m smallbore rifle, three position event. Du scored 589 points.

After not placing in the top tier of the women's 10m air rifle event, China's Du Li won a gold medal in the women's 50m smallbore rifle three position event. Katerina Emmons won the silver medal and Cuba's Eglis Yaima Cruz bronze.  

When American Sandra Fong competes against Russia's Lyubov Galkina in the women's smallbore rifle three position qualification event tonight, her biggest supporters will be fellow shooters and sisters Abigail and Danielle Fong. 

In a dramatic women's sport pistol final, China's Chen Ying won the gold medal over Mongolia's Gundegmaa Otryad, who set an Olympic record in the qualification round. Germany's Munkhbayar Dorjsuren won the bronze.

South Korea's Jin Jong Oh won the gold medal in the men's 50m free pistol event. North Korea's Kim Jong Su won the silver medal and China's Tan Zongliang the bronze.
